Howie Lim's illustrious radio career began in 1997 when she joined MediaCorp's then-Perfect 10, 98.7 FM as a producer-presenter.

The job allowed her to hone a wide range of skills in producing radio dramas that required multiple production elements, creative trailers for station content and promotions and commercials for corporate clients. Her scintillating wit and her impeccable knowledge of music were highlighted in her role as host of the station's midnight call-in show and subsequently, its lunchtime show, The Wok.

As a versatile radio personality, Howie also has experience as a credible and opinionated radio journalist.

In 2004, she joined Radio Singapore International, the international arm of MediaCorp. Her incisive interviewing style made for evocative news analysis programmes.

From 2006-2010, Howie was an award-winning senior creative producer at MediaCorp's Gold 90FM and Class 95FM. She not only conceptualised and wrote copy for trailers and commercials but also put together the final on-air product.
Her ability to write succinct and effective copy allowed her to come up with on-air branding and imaging elements that keep listeners tuned in.

Currently, Howie is the voice of Lunch Box on 938 LIVE. It is a smorgasbord of food, trivia and entertainment segments such as That's Showbiz and Talking Music.

In addition, Howie is a sought-after voice-over talent and on-site host and has experience hosting road shows and large-scale countdown shows and concerts.
