Jade was discovered in the Miss Singapore Universe 2006 pageant, where she bagged the title of 'Ms Photogenic', and also emerged as first runner-up.

Being no newcomer to modelling, Jade has lent her face to various print advertisements and television commercials to major brands. She has also been featured in various local publications.

She has also dabbled in theatre, playing the female lead, 'Corrie', in the Singapore Management University's (SMU) stage production of Neil Simon's 'Barefoot in the Park'. It was here that Jade's interest in acting was piqued.

An aspiring reporter, Jade also wrote for SMU's student publication while she was in school.

Other than the arts, Jade also takes a keen interest in sports, representing her various schools in netball from Primary, all the way to tertiary level. She also represented SMU in wakeboarding, emerging as 2nd-runner up in the Women's novice category in 2003.

Awarded with the Dean's List Certificate, Jade graduated from the Singapore Management University (SMU) with an Honours degree in Business Management, holding a double major in Corporate Communications and Marketing in 2006. She also has work experience in both Public Relations as well as Advertising, working in Ogilvy & Mather before joining MediaCorp as an artiste.

Her exuberance and quick wit quickly propelled her to be the co-host of The Dance Floor, working with veteran DJs Glenn Ong and Flying Dutchman shortly after joining MediaCorp.
