MTV Video Music Awards 2000

Britney Spears took to the 200 MTV VMAs wearing a conservative black suit and fedora hat. Nothing shocking there, she then proceeded to rip off her outfit to reveal a skin-coloured body stocking with a few strategically-based sequins and writhe through her hit single ‘Oops!... I Did It Again leaving all images of an innocent school girl firmly behind her. As the presenter Marlon Wayans said after she finished, "girl done went from The Mickey Mouse Club to the strip club!" Which we think sums it up the affair perfectly…
