Apart from the mammoth “Mother of all K-Pop” concert (SMTown) held in end-November, Big Bang’s first solo gig in Singapore was just about the next most exciting piece of news to hit the island. Fans had to wait close to three years (from the boys’ first visit in 2010) for the group to finally hold a full-scale concert here; on top of that, Ann Kok’s adulation and brazen declaration of love for the quintet allowed us to witness a whole new dimension of fanatical behavior - by our very own stars - unfold.
