2014 Spring Wave Music Festival brings A-Mei, Jam Hsiao to our shores
The number ONE Mandopop outdoor music festival, 2014 Spring Wave Music Festival, is back in Singapore for the second year running. This year’s music bonanza will be held at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay in less than two months’ time on June 7.
This year’s line-up includes Taiwan’s Mandopop diva A-Mei + Boxing, Taiwanese rocker Jam Hsiao (who also performed at the music festival in Singapore last year), Della Ding Dang, Korean-Taiwanese singer Bii and Taiwan’s “otaku goddess” Yao Yao (Guo Shu Yao).
Unlike last year’s concert which was held in the evening, this year’s event sees performing artiste bringing a full day of live performance will feature non-stop performances from 5 to 11.30pm. Yup, you read that right – that's more than SIX hours.
The outdoor concert is fashioned after the annual music festival which takes place at Taiwan’s Kenting beach – often performed by some of Taiwan’s biggest stars in the music industry – to promote popular Chinese music.
