The hip ratio of our Garden City quadrupled overnight recently: first came the Web(b)-slinging gang of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, then came the Marvel mutants from X-Men: Day of Future Past. In-between visits made by the friendly neighbourhood masked superhero and the metal-clawed Wolverine and pals, we’ve had WAG-fashionista-designer-singer extraordinaire Victoria Beckham and her posse of publicists, stylists and make-up artists descend on our sunny isle via a private jet – no less, for a media showcase.

If you missed out on any of these star gazing opportunities, there’ll be more to come: Eva Longoria will be in town on May 28 to commemorate Italian jewellery brand Damiani’s 90th anniversary; Twilight actress Nikki Reed is headlining a local horror movie, Email, by Kelvin Tong, set and filmed in Singapore; and according to film mag Screen Daily, Kirsten Stewart and Nicholas Hoult will be shooting the book-to-movie adaptation of George Orwell’s 1984  in Singapore this August. Joy.

From Jamie Foxx’s low-key visit to the Night Safari with a kiddo in tow to Victoria fighting the frizz in Singapore (thanks, humidity), we check out what these celebs got up to during their time here.
