Ada Choi appears in public for the first time after confinement
Hong Kong actress Ada Choi appeared in public with husband Max Zhang for the first time yesterday, one month after she gave birth to their second daughter Zhang Shun-yee, on Mar 25.
Seen wearing afacial mask after alighting from the car, the actress walked hand-in-hand with her husband to a hair salon in Central, Hong Kong. Spotting a bare and makeup-less face, a radiant-looking Ada was in good spirits when she went for her first hair wash after the one-month confinement.
Dressed in a baggy grey top and jeans, the actress may not have fully regained her pre-pregnancy figure, but her face and limbs remain visibly slim.
While speaking to the reporters, she said that she did not bring the baby out as the weather was too hot. When asked if she intends to hold a baby shower, Ada answered, “No. And we haven’t decided if we’ll be organising a hundred-day banquet.”
In addition, Ada refuted the claims that the new TVB drama series Beauty at War’s low ratings is caused by the recent rumours naming Christine Kuo, who plays the maid of a consort in the show, as a third party in Aaron Kwok and Lynn Xiong’s relationship.
The actress also mentioned that she watches the drama every night and that she will resume work in the near future. She said, “Ratings depend on many factors. I hope everyone will support the show.”
