Alex To ties the knot with girlfriend

50-year-old Hong Kong singer, Alex To married longtime girlfriend, Ice yesterday. Dressed in a black tuxedo, Alex was accompanied by his "band of superstar groomsmen" including Hong Kong actor Tony Leung, singers Kenny Bee and David Lui when he went to receive his bride in the morning.

Alex followed the Chinese custom by giving a red packet to each of the bridesmaids. He and his groomsmen even went through a series of tests to prove his love for Icy. They only passed the test almost two hours later.

Ice, dressed in a white, elegant vintage gown appeared with Alex and the loving pair even kissed publicly.

Alex revealed that he suffered from insomnia the night before, and was grateful to all the bridesmaids who were "very lenient" to have made them gone through just one test.

When asked if Alex's "most attractive superstar groomsman", Tony Leung had suffered earlier on, he said, "No one dares to make things difficult for him [Tony]. The bridesmaids and my wife are all smitten by his 'electrifying' eyes!"

The pair proceeded to the Chinese wedding tea ceremony (a custom where newlyweds serve tea to both the groom and bride's parents) before registering their marriage at the yacht club. They held the wedding reception soon after and enjoyed their special moment with family and friends till midnight.

They will also throw a post-wedding celebration in Taipei on Nov 21.
