Cynthia Wang muses over shoes and local delights
She also recalled the time when she recorded her first scene with her 'mother' Zoe.
"In the beginning, I was really shy. We haven't really met yet and I had to talk to her in a rude manner because of my character. For a while, I felt really bad about it," said Cynthia.

Cynthia admitted that like the rest of the younger stars, she felt stressful and was worried about the criticisms she might receive from the Caldecott queen.
"Before meeting Zoe, I thought she'd be aloof; after all, she's the Ah Jie. Upon meeting her, I felt that she's really a nice and friendly person. Zoe lets a person feel really at ease; so when the camera started rolling, I don't feel nervous anymore," she said.
The actress added that Zoe brought her out for crabs, after learning that Cynthia loves the delicacy.
