Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will soon be visiting Muscat to attend the premiere of their forthcoming action spy film, Agent Vinod.

The espionage drama will be screened at the seventh edition of the Muscat International Film Festival (MIFF), on March 25, 2012 and will also become the first ever film to be premiered in Oman.

Talking about his dream project, Saif was quoted saying, "A bit of Tintin, a bit of Bond, a bit of Alistair McLean and well, a little bit of fun and frolic and a lot of adventure- that is what Agent Vinod, the much awaited Bollywood flick is all about."

On being quizzed if he's been to Oman before, he said, "I have visited Oman couple of times; I have a cousin living there. I love the country, quiet and peaceful, am absolutely thrilled to come to Oman for the Agent Vinod premiere. In fact, I am coming with some friends and am looking forward to the trip."

"This movie's entry is ground-breaking as far as the nascent cinema industry in Oman is concerned. For Oman, it is the first ever movie premiere and it will be great to have movie stars like Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in town for the MIFF," MIFF Chairman Dr Khalid Al Zadjali was quoted saying.

Shot in Morocco, Sri Lanka and Latvia, the flick is directed by Sriram Raghavan and is slated to release on March 23, 2012.
