Cecilia Cheung ignores son’s asthma

An animal lover, Hong Kong star Cecilia Cheung recently bought a six-month-old purebred French Bulldog worth HK$14,000 (S$2,200), neglecting the fact that her asthmatic son Lucas Tse might suffer a relapse due to the animal fur. 

She is said to have purchased the dog which is past its newborn period so that it would be easier to take care of.

Although the 32-year-old once owned more than 20 dogs, 4 cats, 5 lizards, 8 turtles and a parrot, she had to give them up as both her ex-husband Nicholas Tse and son Lucas suffer from asthma and are allergic to animal hair.

Cecilia reportedly bought two dogs after her divorce with Nicholas, causing their son’s respiratory problems to be aggravated. As a result, she had to leave the pets at her mother’s place. However as Lucas is growing up fast, it seems like Cecilia is going back to her old ways and channeling her loneliness into caring for pets with her latest purchase.
