Chinese actress Huang Yi becomes a mum

Chinese actress Huang Yi gave birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Los Angeles on Jan 19.

Huang Yi’s good friend and Chinese actress Li Bing Bing confirmed the good news through her micro-blog yesterday, with a congratulatory message and a photo taken with Huang Yi.

When reporters contacted Yi’s company, a representative gave a vague reply, “Yi hopes that her family can be given some privacy. No matter what, we would give her our biggest well wishes, and thanks everyone for your concern.”

The 33-year-old actress first confirmed news of her marriage when she was caught taking her wedding photos with her husband Huang Yiqing in August last year. However, the first-time mum did not respond to pregnancy rumours when she was reportedly seen shopping for baby clothes, with a big tummy, in Los Angeles.
