Denise Ho refuses to comment on Joey Yung’s sexual orientation

Singer Denise Ho recently announced her homosexuality at the annual Pride Parade in Hong Kong. Although supported by many fans and netizens for her confession, the public became curious on whether her longtime close friend, Hong Kong singer Joey Yung, is bisexual.

Denise and Joey have been romantically linked for almost five years, but gradually grew distant in June this year when Joey announced her relationship with fellow singer-actor Wilfred Lau. There have also been rumours that Wilfred had dated Denise previously.

During the radio interview, Denise revealed that she felt much at ease talking about relationships now, and could "easily mention girlfriends in public".

"It's rather difficult to answer that," Denise replied when questioned about Joey's sexual orientation.

Denise also emphasized that she was certain of her sexual orientation even before getting into the entertainment industry 11 years ago, indirectly dismissing the rumours of her and Wilfred's romantic history.

She refused to comment on her previous relationships and has kept mum on her current love life.

Meanwhile, there have been talks that Denise intends to go public with Taiwanese actress, Deng Jiuyun, which explains her announcement on being homosexual earlier on. The pair met while filming the stage drama, Jia Bao Yu in October 2011.
