Overseas work commitment keeps the loving celeb couple apart

Local celeb couple Christopher Lee and Fann Wong, who tied the knot in 2009, have recently expressed their dismay about spending lesser time with each other due to their overseas work schedules.

Starring opposite Taiwanese model-actress Tian Xin, Chris is currently in Taiwan for the filming of upcoming TTV drama My Dear, I’ve Fallen in Love with Someone Else.

In a previous interview, the 41-year-old talked about maintaining the long-distance relationship with his wife and said cheekily, “Communication between a married couple is the most important. Our bed at home is used for chatting.”

Fann, who took the opportunity to meet up with Chris when she flew to Taiwan for an endorsement job yesterday, shared her disappointment with reporters. “Who knows that I’ll be spending only one night with my hubby,” she lamented.

She then explained that the filming crew, including Chris, has left for their shoot in Taichung, crashing her hopes to spend more time with her husband. When asked if the couple is in a hurry to have their first child, Fann said, “Yes. But we really have no time.”

Often located in different cities, the couple keep in touch through teleconferencing where Chris reports his daily schedule to Fann. The actress further divulged that Chris would call and tease her before he takes a bath at times.

Although Chris is expected to share a number of scenes with Tian Xin, who is known for her voluptuous figure, Fann showed no signs of worry and said, “I won’t watch it [the drama] at most.”

In addition, the actress mentioned that she is keen to shoot a drama in Taiwan if the script is suitable. However, she rejected the idea of acting as a couple with Chris as she would “burst out laughing” on set.
