At the grand finale of The Voice of China, which is the hottest reality singing competition in China right now, on Sep 30, judge Harlem Yu sang “Rang Wo Yi Ci Ai Ge Gou” with his student disciple and contestant Momo Wu.

Faye, being an ardent fan of The Voice of China, immediately posted on her micro-blog and jokingly commented that both Harlem and Momo sounded like “meowing cats”.

Netizens reacted strongly to her post and retorted that she has “no right” to comment on others as she went “off-key” at this year’s Hunan Chinese New Year concert.

Faye deleted her post soon after and apologised, “This is merely a joke. I’m sorry I have hurt anyone. I should not have shot my mouth off. I’m sorry and I will not repeat the same mistake again.”

Harlem responded that it was just a joke and advised the public not to be serious over such trivial matters.
