2014 is already shaping up to be a fruitful year for Felicia Chin. But unfortunately for us, the actress, who returned to showbiz after three years of student life last June, is very secretive about her upcoming plans.
One issue she remained coy about during our interview – held after the screening of her latest endeavour, Toggle telemovie Hong Baos and Kisses, at Shaw Theatres Lido – is whether she will be making an official return to MediaCorp following her departure in 2010.
“We are in talks, and something will come out of it very soon,” she answered cryptically. “MediaCorp has always taken good care of me, so we’re trying to come up with something that will work out for the both of us.” When probed for further details, such as how long the contract will be and when it commences, all she gave us was: “The announcement is coming soon.” How soon? “Soon. The former National University of Singapore student also let on that she’s hoping to start a fashion-related business, and that she’s in the midst of lobbying for two more projects, a drama and a movie. “I really hope I get both roles because I like the scripts, and I think it’s good to always keep myself busy.”
