Gillian Chung and boyfriend spend Valentine’s Day in Vietnam

Cantopop star Gillian Chung may have previously announced that she would be working through Valentine’s Day, but it turns out that the singer rejected job offers at the last minute and took time off to spend the occasion with her Korean boyfriend in Vietnam.

According to media reports, Gillian forwent popular holiday destinations to accommodate her boyfriend’s preference for a low-key celebration.

The couple, who has been dating for eight months, was spotted at the Ho Chi Minh City airport in the evening of February 15. Both were seen wearing shades to hide from the public eye and Gillian was especially alert of the surroundings, keeping her head down when a tour group from Hong Kong walked past.

Although the pair did not link arms, they appeared to enjoy their private conversation, bursting into laughter occasionally as they strolled closely next to each other.
