How many girls does it take to stop traffic in Ngee Ann City? Just three.

Diehard K-pop and fashion fans staked out and camped behind a few barricaded areas surrounding Charles & Keith’s new boutique in Ngee Ann City three to four hours before the event began, just to catch a glimpse of their favourite fashionistas and Korean stars. Everyone wanted a slice of the action: from the fans to the media who were packed in a tiny holding spot in front of the photo wall.
The grand opening event, which was graced by Daniel Henney, Seohyun, Hyoyeon and Yuri from Girls’ Generation, local actresses Zoe Tay and Fann Wong and fashionistas like Liu Wen and Bryanboy, stopped traffic (quite literally) when they appeared at basement level 2 last night, dressed to the nines in towering heels and coiffed ‘dos. There was even a minor human jam from the star-studded frenzy at basement level 2; some shop owners took matters into their own hands by pulling down their shutters to prevent the crowd from spilling into their space (hmm, guess not everyone's a fan of Girls' Generation, eh?).
