Girls’ Generation pour their woes on TV
South Korean girl group Girls’ Generation recently made their comeback with “Mr.Mr.”, and appeared on a TV talk show called Healing Camp. During the programme recording, Sooyoung and YoonA talked about their relationships, while leader Taeyeon shared about her pre-debut days.
Taeyeon, who celebrated her 25th birthday on Mar 9, mentioned how she spent most of her youth working, following Girls’ Generation’s debut in 2007. Before the group released their self-titled debut album, Taeyeon was so stressed by the lack of opportunity that she often drank alcohol to sleep better.
Meanwhile, Sooyoung broke out in laughter when she was asked on her boyfriend Jung Kyung-ho’s reaction to her dating rumours with heartthrob Won Bin. “He is very happy about the news, because he thinks that it puts him on the same level as Won Bin,” she chuckled.
Though YoonA shyly refused to reveal details about her romance with Lee Seunggi, the singer said that she is “very blissful” at the moment.
At the same time, Yuri hinted at her concern about the group’s future. “I don’t think we have much time left as idols,” the 24-year-old confided.
