Huang Xiao Ming sure works hard for his money. The Chinese actor has been working up to 20 hours per day despite his leg injury.

According to Taiwan media, the China’s “number one heartthrob” fell from three metres above ground while filming a fight scene for his new movie, The Bride With White Hair 3D, in November last year. He suffered a comminuted fracture in two toes on his left foot.

Xiao Ming resumed filming in January even though he had not fully recovered from his injury. The actor shared his daily work schedule online yesterday, and said that he has to film overnight, from 8pm to 6am.

The injury has also brought about huge inconvenience to Xiao Ming as he is unable to move around freely. “When can I walk properly again?” the actor posted on his microblog yesterday.

Xiao Ming’s manager said, “He is recovering slowly, but his injury has taken a toll on him. His foots also swells because he has been walking too much during filming, so he has to take foot baths everyday to rest his foot.”

After learning about his hectic work schedule, fans began to express their concern for the actor and many commented that their “hearts ache for him”.

Xiao Ming said he is optimistic about his injury but hopes that he can recover quickly so that he can concentrate on his filming.
