Taiwanese host Dee Hsu arrived at the Taipei District Court to testify for Top Pot Bakery`s lawsuit in Taipei, Taiwan, 3 July 2014. Dee`s husband Mike Hsu and his father Hsu Ching-hsiang were accused of violating the Securities and Exchange Act with insider trading. And the phone call record last July between Mike during holiday in U.S. and his dad in Taipei was pointed out as the evidence of their insider trading. Dee defended her husband and answered it was actually a normal phone call between her and her mother-in-law, saying the content was only related to family affairs but not economic communications. Dee also emphasized her good relationship with mother-in-law, trying to make the minutes-long phone call with family sound more reasonable. Mike and his dad will face 10 years in prison for criminal liability, if found guilty.
