South Korean actor Kim Hyun Joong arrived at the Songpa District Police Station to be questioned over his assault charges in Seoul, South Korea, 2 September 2014. Kim was escorted inside by his lawyer and manager. The testimony of the hallyu star no doubt refuted the charges against him. Kim`s ex-girlfriend, known only as "A", filed an assault charge against him in late August. It is said Kim had beaten the former girlfriend on multiple occasions. Kim`s attacks left many bruises on her body in May and broke her bones in July, resulting in weeks of medical treatment. Kim at the beginning denied their love relationship totally and was later disapproved by A`s hard evidences. If he is found guilty, Kim could face a prison term or a fine of about $ 10,000 (around S$12,532).
