Isabella Leong confirms her comeback
Better known as the single mother of three children after her split with Hong Kong billionaire Richard Li in 2011, Hong Kong actress Isabella Leong rebuked rumours of her departure from showbiz yesterday when she attended the press conference of Taiwanese director Sylvia Chang’s new film, Lim Lim as the female lead.
The 25-year-old actress announced that Lim Lim shall be her comeback film and will be living in Taiwan for two months to complete the filming. Meanwhile, her three children will be taken care of by her parents in Hong Kong.
During the press conference held at Taipei, Isabella appeared to be nervous most of the time. While speaking to reporters, she revealed, “It took me two days to decide and I’m glad that I eventually did, because it’s such a great plot.”
Moreover, she added that it was never her intention to quit acting and previous reports about her departure are heavily falsified.
“I was just taking a break, I never said that I was going to leave,” Isabella said firmly.
Word has it that following her separation with Richard, the young mother-actress was given a huge sum of money to relocate overseas and retreat from the spotlight to take proper care of their three children.
