It’s a baby girl for Gigi Lai again

This just in: TVB executive, Virginia Lok, has confirmed that 41-year-old Gigi Lai gave birth to her third daughter on Monday night via Caesarean section, much earlier than expected.

The 8-pound (3.5 kg) baby girl is named Pegella, which is a combination of her husband, Patrick's first initials, twin daughters (Pricia and Gianna) and Gigi's English names. It also means to be loved by all in the family.

Virginia commented that Gigi's husband, Patrick Ma was "elated to see three new members joining the Ma family so quickly" and declined to comment if Gigi is prepared to get pregnant again for a baby boy this time round.

Gigi resigned from the show business in 2008 and married wealthy businessman, Patrick Ma the same year. She gave birth to a pair of premature twin girls in 2010.
