Jack Neo: Irene Ang looks like a “typical Singaporean mum”

Local director, Jack Neo's latest film, Ah Boys to Men, is produced to commemorate 45 years of National Service in Singapore. The film, which costs S$3 million to produce, is the first local movie to be released in two parts and the first to film in Tekong Island.
Ah Boys to Men talks about how the lives of four boys change after going through Singapore's Basic Military Training (BMT).
Unlike other typical army flicks done locally, it incorporates visual effects and massive explosive scenes filmed at Robinson Road and Neo Tiew Estate, depicting Singapore at war.
At the press conference of Ah Boys to Men on Tuesday, Jack Neo commented that he had no regrets despite exceeding the production budget by 10% to 20%.
"Through this film, I can relive memories of my days in army," he expressed.
