Jam Hsiao promises to give a house to Taiwanese actress Kelly Lin’s daughter in the future.

According to the Taiwanese media, the Taiwanese singer recently bought an 80 square meters apartment worth NT$80 million (approximately S$3.38 million). Kelly Lin, her Chinese-American businessman husband Chris Young and their daughter Kaitlin were invited to his place for a housewarming party.

Jam previously spent NT$200,000 (approximately S$8,360) on a set of children’s books as a gift for the one year and eight months old Kaitlin, who is his god-daughter. In order to repay his kindness, Kelly and Chris offered to buy Jam a refrigerator, television and washing machine for his new home.

Jam’s manager then hinted that the singer also intends to install a television in his kitchen, bedroom and even bathroom. Chris immediately agreed, asking him to leave it up to him.

Kelly was initially worried that her daughter would not be comfortable in the new environment when they brought her to Jam’s house, but Kaitlin adapted to the place very quickly and happily explored the house while crawling around. Jam continuously took photos of Kaitlin as he attempted to capture the child’s every move.

After witnessing Jam’s love for his god-daughter, Kelly jokingly asked, “Did you have a room reserved for Kaitlin in your new house?”

The 26-year-old who is known for his love for kids generously replied, “I will not only give her a room, but also a whole house in the future!”

Jam reportedly owns three properties worth a total of NT$160 million (approximately S$6.8 million).
