Jerry Yan sends well-wishes to Terri Kwan

Jerry Yan sent his well wishes to rumoured ex-lover Terri Kwan after the latter shared news of her engagement on her micro-blog on Sunday.

Underneath his gentlemanly gesture, the Taiwanese singer-actor is said to be greatly affected by the news and even canceled work for it.

According to the Taiwanese media, the pair were rumoured to be dating after co-acting in the drama Starlit and even went on a secret holiday trip to Thailand. They have however never admitted to the relationship.

Attending the press conference of his new drama Because Love yesterday, Jerry told reporters that he “felt very happy for Terri”.

He said, “Her husband is very lucky to have found such a wonderful wife. I hope he would treasure her.”

Jerry also commented that “love is tormenting”, as he explained that finding true love is especially hard in showbiz because of “lies and deception”.

In other related news, Jerry responded to rumours of Taiwanese boyband F4’s reunion at China CCTV’s Spring Festival this year, saying that he would be glad to perform together if there is a chance.

When asked if he maintains contact with the other F4 members, Jerry said, “I just went to Vanness’s place with Vic not long ago”, making no mention of fellow member Ken Zhu.
