Joey Yung breaks down on "bisexual" comment

Hong Kong singer Joey Yung has been close friends with fellow singer, Denise Ho for over ten years. They have been constantly linked to each other previously, but got distant when Joey announced her relationship with singer Wilfred Lau.

Recently declaring her homosexuality, Denise Ho commented in a radio interview that it was "difficult to answer" if Joey is bisexual, indirectly admitting Joey's sexual orientation.

Joey reportedly became depressed after hearing the news while on a holiday in Korea with Wilfred. She isolated herself at home after returning to Hong Kong, and broke down in tears.

Her manager, Mani Fok admitted, "Joey is not in the mood to accept any interviews right now."

Although respecting Denise's decision to reveal her sexual orientation publicly, Mani expressed that Joey wished to keep her love life low-key.

Mani added, "Joey definitely supports Denise's decisions as a friend. However, her [Denise] comments over the past few days have greatly affected Joey emotionally. I think it's unfair to let Joey bear with all these speculations."
