JPM member Prince uploaded a photo of his speeding fines on Facebook yesterday, shocking everyone with the amount. According to the 24-year-old, the total sum of money he has paid for his fines amassed in the past one year amounted to nearly NT$90,000 (approximately S$3825).

From the picture, it can be seen that Prince was caught speeding on various roads across Taiwan, getting fined a minimum of NT$6000 (S$255) each time.

As Prince’s hometown is in Taichung, the singer shuttles between Taipei and Taichung regularly, to visit his parents and elderly grandma. It was only until recently when he browsed through his record of fines did he realise the hefty price he had to pay for his love for speed.

Showing remorse over his mistakes, Prince commented that “he could have donated all this money to charity” and promised never to speed again.
