Zombies have always been a favourite apocalyptic trope, but they have never been as terrifying as in Danny Boyle's film 28 Days Later. A virus causes a zombie apocalypse which leads to the collapse of the UK, where four survivors must fight against these horrible monsters as well as trying to maintain humanity and decency against terrible odds.
