Hong Kong actresses Miriam Yeung and Gigi Leung joined in a press conference for the 38th Hong Kong International Film Festival in Hong Kong, China, 27 February 2014, and announced that their new film "Aberdeen" was scheduled to be the opening film. The two beauties were both dressed up with blue cocktail dresses, which perfectly matched with the theme color of the film festival. They were escorted by actor Louis Koo and director Pang Ho Cheung. Miriam disclosed that the role in the new movie was a big transition for her career from a comedian to a professional actress. She plays a sad housewife whose husband has cheated on her. To concentrate on the role, Miriam even avoided to speak with her husband Real Ting by going out early and returning late every day, which created quick scary atmosphere at home, she added.
