Moses Chan forbids Aimee Chan from going out alone
Moses Chan has reportedly “forbidden” his seven-month pregnant wife Aimee Chan from leaving the house on her own, after she got into a car accident just one day after returning to Hong Kong last month.
On Saturday, actor Evergreen Mark and his wife fetched Aimee to a restaurant in Tai Mei Tuk from her apartment in Tai Po. TVB actress Natalie Tong, who joined the group later, also took turns with Evergreen to drive during the return journey.
Sources revealed that Moses has disallowed his wife to drive, even when she has company. “He told all his friends that whoever wishes to ask Aimee out would have to fetch her to and fro,” said an insider.
In other related news, rumour has it that Moses, whose contract with TVB expires in six months, is likely to remain in the company for his wife. Although earlier reports claimed that the actor had intentions to start his own café business after his contract ends, Aimee’s unexpected pregnancy has caused changes in his plans.
According to the insider, the 42-year-old has become risk-averse now that the couple is expecting their first child. Moreover, TVB’s management has expressed their sincerity in keeping Moses in the company by listing Will Power, which the actor starred in, as the station’s anniversary drama.
