Best Female: Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Pink, Rihanna, Taylor Swift

This is one of the most tricky categories to call, and we wouldn't be surprised to see any one of four out of the five (Pink being the exception) take the award. Nicki Minaj took Best Female Video ahead of Katy and RiRi at the VMAs, showing she's already much-loved by MTV audiences. Based on that, we're going for another Nicki win, albeit a narrow one.
