Paul Wong is happy to be a first time dad

Hong Kong actress Athena Chu and her husband, Paul Wong, welcomed their newborn daughter, nicknamed "Char Siew Bun," on Tuesday. The couple has uploaded pictures of their beloved daughter on their respective microblogs.

The new dad was in high spirits when he showed up for a film shoot in Hong Kong.

He shared that "Char Siew Bun" weighs around 3kg and that he has yet to give her an English name. Paul is learning to take care of her one step at a time.

The couple is still deciding whether they'd rather plan a first month or 100th-day party for their daughter.

Athena will be celebrating her 41st birthday on Oct 25. The ex-Beyond band member has not thought of anything special to do yet, but will definitely reward herself with a gift for her hard work.

He also revealed that Athena is recovering well and has not gained much weight from her pregnancy.

When asked if Athena got pregnant out of wedlock, the 48-year-old clarified, "We'd already registered for our marriage and held a wedding reception."
