Following their engagement ceremony in Ping Tung and wedding banquet in Taipei, S.H.E member Ella Chen rounded up her wedding celebrations at her last stop in Malacca, Malaysia, hometown of her husband, Alvin Lai, yesterday.

The newly-wedded couple completed the last of their traditional wedding rites at Hotel Equatorial in Malaysia. Both father and daughter got emotional and choked up in tears when Ella's father had to hand her over to Alvin, who was there to fetch the bride.

A tearful Ella thanked her parents and said, "Thank you dad and mum for bringing me up, educating and caring for me. The both of you have never left each other's side and that has reaffirmed my belief to walk on with my partner, for the rest of my life; I will take good care of Alvin."

Alvin chimed in and added, "Thank you for treating me as your son. I will take care of Ella."

After they paid respects to Ella's parents at the hotel, the couple proceeded to Alvin's house for the traditional tea ceremony and a buffet lunch, before calling it a day with their 88-table wedding banquet celebration.
