S.H.E to perform at CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala next year

Popular Taiwanese girl group S.H.E is celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year with fans in China next year. The trio will be performing at CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala on Lunar New Year’s Eve.

The news was confirmed by their music company, HIM international Music and the girls have expressed happily, “After almost three years, we can finally perform to our Chinese fans once again. We promise to give it our best on that day.”

On the other hand, there have been rumours that the production team has restricted S.H.E from performing as a group prior to the Spring Festival Gala. S.H.E has reportedly lost potential earnings of approximately TWD20million (S$840,000).

HIM international Music denied the rumours and clarified, “As Selina is still recovering from her burn accident, no arrangements have been made for S.H.E to perform overseas currently”.

The music company even sang praises for the thoughtful production team. The crew gave S.H.E “direct access” to the rehearsal venue as they were afraid that Selina’s skin would be sensitive to the weather in Beijing.
