Show Luo: I’m not bothered by controversies
Taiwanese singer Show Luo will be holding his “Over the Limit” world tour 2013 in Singapore on March 3. Besides taking on the role as the director of music, visual and dance, the self-professed lover of leopard prints even chose leopard prints as the theme of the concert.
Show set new records by challenging his stamina, new dance genres and performing dangerous stunts during his concerts in Taiwan and the singer felt that it will be a pity that he cannot perform the same acts in Singapore due to constraints of the venue. He however promised, over a phone interview with xinmsn that each of his concert show is unique, and Singapore fans can expect something different.
Besides busy preparing for his album and world tour, Show took on a cameo role in director Stephen Chow’s latest movie Journey to the West after a 12-year-long break from the big screen.
“Although I only play a small role in the film, I was very happy to be able to interact with my idol Stephen Chow during the few days of filming,” Show said.
After three years since his last drama, the singer-actor hopes to act in a television drama this year. However, Show said that he examines the script very carefully each time before he decides to take on a new role.
The perfectionist explained that he wants to take on different roles because he does not want the audience to think that his character in a new show resembles his previous one. Show also added that he prefers stories that are more realistic, without over-dramatic acting or effects.
