Shu Qi’s Beijing rendezvous with Stephen Fung

Taiwanese movie star Shu Qi attended the press conference for upcoming movie The Hidden Heroine in Hubei, China yesterday to mark the start of the film’s production. It is said that the 36-year-old skipped the media interviews and left the scene hurriedly after the event.

According to reports, Shu Qi flew to Beijing after the press conference to meet up with rumoured boyfriend Stephen Fung. The director was in the Chinese capital to promote his latest self-directed film Taichi II.

Citing it as her artiste’s “personal affair”, Shu Qi’s manager declined to comment or respond to said claims.

“She is scheduled to start filming two days later. She will be back,” the production crew explained.

In other related news, Shu Qi and Stephen Fung were earlier reported to have went house-hunting together in Thailand. Over a phone interview, Stephen clarified, “How is that possible? She might have bought a house, but it definitely has nothing to do with me.”

Stephen Fung has yet to respond to the rumours of his rendezvous with Shu Qi in Beijing.
