Star Awards 2013: Show 2 Winners List

In Show 2 of Star Awards 2013, we honour the best and brightest acting talent on Caldecott Hill.

Acting Category Winners

Best Actor: Christopher Lee (《注定》 Show Hand)
Hot favourite Christopher Lee finally lands his second Best Actor win after more than 15 years - his first was in 1997 for The Price of Peace - for his convincing portrayal as a gambling addict struggling to turn over a new leaf. Christopher, who had just returned from Taiwan, dedicated the award to the late actor Huang Wenyong, whom he respects a lot and regrets not being able to send him off on his final journey.

Best Actress: Rui En (《最火搭档2》 Unriddle 2)
Rui En, who already won a Asian Television Best Actress award for this role, thanked producers for giving her a role that allowed her to show off her range as an actress.

Best Supporting Actor: Tay Ping Hui (《最火搭档2》 Unriddle 2)
In his thank you speech, Tay Ping Hui, who snagged the Best Actor award last year, said: "I only had one project - Unriddle 2 - last year as it was a busy year for me, so it is an honour to be nominated and to win an award for it."

Best Supporting Actress: Lin Mei Jiao (《千方百计》 Game Plan)
This is the veteran actress' first win after nine nominations. "Awards can be a big source of encouragement. When the time is right, it will be yours. You don‘t have to crave for it or 'wait until your neck is long'," said Lin Mei Jiao, taking a jab at ex-husband Huang Yiliang who once said she would have to wait until her neck was long like a giraffe's before she would take home an award.

Best Newcomer: Ian Fang (《我们等你》 Don't Stop Believin')
