Stefanie Sun dedicates new song to son
Local singer Stefanie Sun attended the press conference of Kepler in Beijing on Tuesday, following her first album release in three years. Dressed in an all-white get-up, the dedicated mum shared that the title song ‘Kepler’ is a present for his 16-month-old son, “little Nadim”.
“He often listened to the song when he was inside my tummy, and even after he was born. He should be very familiar with it by now,” she laughed.
In tune with Stefanie’s album concept, which is inspired by 17th Century astronomer Johannes Kepler, Universal Music specially decorated the press conference venue according to a galaxy theme. A 60-seconds preview of her new music video ‘Angel’s Fingerprints’ was also screened during the event.
While speaking to the media, Stefanie admitted that she once worried about “getting replaced by new singers”, but she does not intend to hastily drop albums because of that.
After successfully kicking off her “Stefanie Sun 2014 Kepler World Tour” at Taipei Arena on Feb 14, the songbird will be bringing the concert to Chinese cities including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin and Beijing in April.
“I immediately rushed to the gym to work out, when I heard that the Shanghai show has sold out!” exclaimed Stefanie.
