Stefanie Sun resumes work again
According to Taiwanese media reports, Singapore singer Stefanie Sun was recently invited to perform at a beauty pageant award ceremony in China, Yangzhou for a remuneration of RMB$750,000 (about S$156,000).
Stefanie, who stayed out of the limelight to prepare for her pregnancy since the beginning of last year, had recently announced her comeback in July. The gig in China was Stefanie's first overseas performance in months, putting an end to her long singing hiatus.
Although the local songstress is flexible with the working hours arranged by her manager, the first-time mother hopes to keep it to a “three-day work week” policy.
Currently, the 35-year-old singer is in the midst of preparing for her upcoming album, which is slated for a year-end release. She has also agreed to take up two commercial gigs every month and will be attending a press conference with Universal Music tomorrow.
