Tay Ping Hui feels stressed acting opposite Chris Tong
Set to play a ladies' man in upcoming xinmsn web-drama 96°C Café, which will be broadcasted in Feb 2013, Tay Ping Hui emphasized that his character Lao Jing Feng is "a flirt on the surface, but a devoted man deep down."
During his interview with xinmsn for the web-drama which will later be repackaged and developed further for Channel 8 in April, Ping Hui added, "[In the drama], I am a serious General Practitioner (GP) in the morning. I will turn into a totally different person at night and hang out at bars to date women."
In the show, Ping Hui is also romantically involved with MediaCorp Y.E.S. 93.3FM DJ Lim Pei Fen and actress Chris Tong. Having worked with Chris for two Ch8 dramas The Family Court and C.L.I.F., Ping Hui spoke about his stress to act with her once again. "[Chris] is really amazing at memorizing her lines and seldom fumbles. I become tense when I act with her. However, she will gradually speak faster towards the end of her lines!"
