Terri Kwan wins US$800 in an hour in Vegas casino

Lady luck sure is shining on Taiwanese artiste Terri Kwan. According to media reports, Terri won US$800 (S$987) at a Las Vegas casino after just an hour. The actress-model was in Sin City to stage her fifth and final performance at Wynn Hotel this week, before she ties the knot with her fiancé in May.

Enjoying a superstar reception in Vegas with chauffeured limousine rides, Terri dubbed herself as the “Queen of Wynn”. The 36-year-old was clearly in a good mood during rehearsals on the second day of the Chinese New Year as she waved victory signs while singing on stage.

Terri’s girlfriend Jennifer Lin later uploaded a photo which featured fellow Taiwanese socialite Sun Yen Yen, Terri and herself, onto her microblog. She wrote: “Feasting in Vegas with a table full of yummy food! We’ll watch Terri’s final ‘life-challenging’ performance at Wynn tomorrow!”

In response to the post, Terri jokingly commented that Jennifer has gone “overboard”.

“Is it that ‘life-challenging’ to listen to me sing “live”?” she laughed.

When asked about her wishes for the new year, the actress mentioned that roles of “wives” would be suitable for her in the near future. She added, “I hope to have more acting opportunities and challenges, such as villain, killer and action roles.”
