The “hottest” TVB artistes in China
These TVB artistes have successfully carved a niche for themselves in the competitive showbiz industry in China!
Bobby Au-Yeung
Dramas: Ghost Catcher - Legend of Beauty; Female Constable; Ghost Catcher II; Trapped
Current paycheck: approximately RMB$120,000 (S$25,000) per episode
The rubber-faced actor is regarded as one of the "early adopters" to venture into the Chinese market as early as 2001. He felt that acting in China has provided him many learning opportunities and most importantly, "ample time to rest and recharge".
Nonetheless, Bobby still keeps his promise, taking on one TVB drama series every year during his filming break in China.
He has also jokingly expressed his love to act in period dramas, as he can act alongside young actresses.
Verdict: 8/10
