Best way to bring a tear to our eyes

The Sandy Hook choir were originally slated to perform at this year’s show, but were unable to travel because of winter storm Nemo that hit the Northeast. Instead, Elton John, Zac Brown Band, Mumford & Sons, Alabama Shakes and Mavis Staples took the moment to perform a tribute to the school's victims, whose song, as Elton declared, was cut far too short.
