The Taiwanese actress and her husband held a lovely wedding ceremony yesterday
Taiwanese actress-model Vivian and her Singapore-based businessman husband Sean Lee held their wedding in Bali yesterday (Jun 29), four months after they registered their marriage in Singapore.
The guest list of 100 people was mostly made up of the couple’s close friends and relatives, including Vivian’s bridesmaid Colbie Ong and event host Dennis Nieh. The venue was decorated in light blue, white and pastel pink colours, which lent a romantic feel to the wedding.
As the newlyweds will be throwing another banquet in Taipei next month, the only celebrities who attended the ceremony in Bali were Chinese actress Ruby Lin, Taiwanese actress-model Monica Chen, Taiwanese model Cindy Song and husband Mai Sheng Yang, and former Morning Musume member Kei Yasuda.
Vivian’s customised Vera Wang white laced wedding dress was accessorised with jewellery gifted by her parents-in-law. According to media reports, the couple had carried out the traditional tea ceremony in Singapore on Jun 26.
From venue hunting to food tasting, Sean was fully involved in all parts of the planning. While giving his speech, the groom promised to “make Vivi happy for the rest of her life”.
In addition, he showered compliments on his wife: “Vivian is not only successfully in her career, but she is also very kind-hearted, filial and virtuous. And this is all to my mother-in-law’s credit. Mama, it’s been hard on you. You are awesome!”
The highlight of the night had to be Sean’s collaboration with the live band. The song titled “Until I Met You” was composed by the groom while the lyrics were written by Vivian, making the performance extra special.
Although the couple will be flying off for their honeymoon soon, Sean refused to reveal the destination as he intends to give Vivian a big surprise by bringing her to a place where she has never been to.
