Wax figures of Dee Hsu and Kevin Tsai to go on display at Madame Tussauds
According to Taiwanese media, wax figures of Dee Hsu and Kevin Tsai, hosts of popular TV program Here Comes Kangxi, will go on display at Madame Tussauds museum in Shanghai this year.
In a recent survey, Dee and Kevin were voted as the celebrities whom visitors “most want to meet” at the reknowned wax museum. Responding to the demand, personnel from Madame Tussauds headquarters in the United Kingdom recently flew to Taiwan, to carry out seven hours of measurement work.
Kevin also specially brought along his signature “black bird” on his shoulder so that it would be included in his wax figure. “I want ‘him’ to be tailor-made as well. I wonder how his wax figure would look like,” he said.
Delighted to have her wax figure exhibited alongside world famous celebrities such as Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, Dee joked that she has “really become an international star”.
As 2014 marks the 10th anniversary of Here Comes Kangxi, Dee and Kevin found it especially meaningful to achieve the milestone this year.
