All you need to know about these Japanese artistes and models - from their fashion styles and taste in men to their weird fashion moments

It was business as usual at the Asia Style Collection 2013, a fashion event organised to showcase the best of fashion brands in Singapore, Japan and Korea, despite the “hazardous” PSI levels in the 300-range yesterday morning.
More than 40 local and Japanese artistes, models and designers were in attendance for the press conference held at the Singapore Expo hall before the runway show and concert performances by music acts such as AKB48 and SNH48, 2NE1 and Girls’ Generation later in the evening.
Nothing stands in the way of fashion and music – not even the haze. Everyone came dressed to the nines and in all sorts of summery and psychedelic colours imaginable – from hip-hop artiste AI’s neon green jersey to Belinda Lee’s cheery yellow playsuit.
For a good 45 minutes, all haze-related woes were temporarily forgotten as we lived, breathed and talked fashion in an exchange of style pointers between Japanese models Lena Fuji, Tsubasa Masuwaka, Rola and local stars.
Here, we fished out the most interesting points from the press conference and backstage interviews to bring you a list of things we learned about these Japanese stars at the Asia Style Collection 2013.
