White Dragon King’s final gift to Andy Lau
According to Hong Kong media, Andy Lau was personally given a talisman, that would “make dreams come true”, by the daughter of Thailand’s master White Dragon King during the latter’s funeral in August.
Although White Dragon King was frequently visited by many celebrities, it is believed that he was closest to Andy, whom he has known for over 30 years. In an earlier interview, the actor also mentioned that the popular divine figure was “like a father” to him.
When White Dragon King passed away on 17 Aug, Andy reportedly cast aside all work and flew to Thailand to pay his last respects to his beloved mentor.
Sources revealed that White Dragon King had written many talismans before his death, and that majority of them were given to Andy. “White Dragon King knew that Andy really wants to have a son, so he specially wrote a talisman which would help fulfill the actor’s wish,” an insider said.
Coincidentally, the Heavenly King was recently spotted visiting a famous gynecologist with his wife Carol Chu in Hong Kong. Rumours are rife that Carol is expecting a baby boy and that the couple will welcome their second child in March next year.
