White Dragon King’s grand funeral
Thailand’s famous divine master, White Dragon King (Chow Yam-nam) had passed away recently due to a chronic illness. His funeral, which was held last Sunday, was attended by famous personalities such as Tony Leung, Albert Yeung, Andrew Lau and Wong Jing.
Previously, the master’s other celebrity followers such as Michael Miu and Eric Tsang, had also flew specially to Thailand to pay their last respects.
In the morning of the funeral, White Dragon King’s eldest grandson Pi Ma led the crowd in the praying sessions with the Buddhist monks. This was followed by the royal acceptance of the “holy mud” bestowed by the King of Thailand in memory of the mystic.
The master’s coffin was then transported to a family cemetery at Yam Nam Hall for burial, where thousands of disciplines followed suit and many broke down in tears when the coffin was lowered to the ground.
After the funeral, White Dragon King’s family thanked their guests and announced that the White Dragon Temple will be closed for two weeks.
